Melbourne based illustrator and part-time design teacher Sonia Kretschmar creates enchanting, conceptual and often rather bizarre pieces using a variety of traditional and digital techniques. Kretschmar has illustrated covers for Penguin, Harper Collins and Walker Books, produced illustrations for countless publications and magazines (including The Rolling Stone and Reader’s Digest Australia), has won numerous awards and was an Archibald Prize finalist in 2011.
